Carol Puskar, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Puskar of 255 E. Abbott St., Lansford, a student nurse, was crowned “Miss Saint Luke’s” last night in the grand ballroom of the Hotel Bethlehem.
The raven-haired 20-hyear-old miss received her crown from Dr. Joseph Corriere of Bethlehem, a staff member of St. Luke’s, at the annual social affair with 90 couples in attendance.
She is a candidate for the Outstanding Nurse Award, a member of the literacy staff for the yearbook and has served as secretary and chairman of the social committee of the student organization. She has also participated in service projects for the Valley Forge Hospital, near Phoenixville.
She is a 1971 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, Hometown.
