Holistic healing center opens in Lehighton

“Whatever the area needs, we’re happy to provide it,” said Patricia Cilenti, owner of Serenity Wellness Collective in Lehighton.

The center offers psychotherapy, massage therapy, marital mediation, life coaching, birthing doula services, yoga and functional mental health — all designed to create what Cilenti calls “a cohesive healing experience.”

Cilenti’s path to wellness began after a lifetime of reinvention. She once owned an art gallery in New Hope and a toy store in Stroudsburg before, as she put it, “creating a whole new me” after raising her children.

In 2012, she earned two master’s degrees — one in marriage and family therapy, the other in psychology and counseling — and is working toward a doctorate. She also holds a degree in art history and photography.

After moving to Lehighton in September 2024, Cilenti began searching for an in-person space for her growing therapy practice. She connected with the owner of a local property who hadn’t used it in three years.

Seeing potential, she decided to rent the top two floors and transform them into a collaborative space for healing.

Each business within Serenity Wellness Collective operates independently, but clients are encouraged to explore additional services.

A full yoga studio occupies the third floor and has quickly gained popularity, while the massage therapist often works with clients engaged in other programs.

Cilenti said her goal is to respond to community needs as they evolve. “We see the ebb and flow of whatever is needed in the community,” she said. “There was a hypnotist, but there was not a niche for that. We’ll see what comes next.”

The collective now includes a drug and alcohol specialist, mental health therapists, and contracts with a doctor, allowing them to accept insurance.

A licensed behavior specialist for children is also part of the team. Recently, the collective hosted a self-empowerment group for kids heading back to school — all participants already working with its therapists.

“It’s an opportunity for families and individuals to be provided with what they need,” Cilenti said. “We match clients to our services.”

Serenity Wellness Collective is located at 101 N. First St., Lehighton. For more information, call (484) 548-3531.
