West Penn Township Supervisors took the following action Tuesday morning:

• Granted Tamaqua Borough’s request for assistance from West Penn Township fire police to help with their Halloween parade at 7 p.m. Oct. 28. The rain date is 7 p.m. Oct. 29.

• Announced that trick-or-treat for West Penn Township is from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31, and reminded not to forget to stop by the West Penn Elementary School parking lot where the township’s police department, fire department, and ambulance will be handing out candy.

• Announced that the board of supervisors’ next public meeting will be at 6 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Annex building.
