Blaise Schweibinz of Bowmanstown was elected president of the United Lutheran Churchmen of the Lehighton District at a district rally held last night in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jim Thorpe.

Other officer who were elected are Stanley Borger of Palmerton, vice president; Dr. Stinson Frantz of Towamensing Township, secretary; and William Llewellyn of Summit Hill, treasurer.

The Rev. M. Luther Wahrmann of Palmerton, dean of the district, will install the newly-elected officers at the January quarterly meeting scheduled to be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Bowmanstown.
