State police at Fern Ridge
State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following incidents:
• A 52-year-old woman from Easton was cited for harassment by physical contact after police were called to a domestic incident at a property on Edgemont Drive, Chestnuthill Township, at 7:52 a.m. Oct. 8.
Police said a 17-year-old boy told them the woman punched and scratched him.
• Police responded to a Protection From Abuse court order violation at 11 a.m. Oct. 8 on Parkside Avenue, Tobyhanna Township.
The victim is a 38-year-old woman from Effort.
• A 63-year-old Brodheadsville woman is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police responded to an incident at 9:19 p.m. Aug. 30 at 103 Leslie Drive, Chestnuthill Township.
Police said she was found in an intoxicated state behind the wheel of a 2014 Jeep that had its engine running.
• Police were called to investigate a theft that was reported at 1:37 p.m. Aug. 17 at Highridge Road, Penn Forest Township.
A 29-year-old woman from Albrightsville reported a theft from her bank account.
• Jason Bolyard, 42, of Quakertown, was cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to a domestic incident at 10:53 p.m. Oct. 7 at 33 Byron Lane, Penn Forest Township.
Police said Powers and the victim, Christine Powers, 37, of Albrightsville, engaged in a physical altercation.
• A 26-year-old woman from Ashley is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 7:58 p.m. Sept. 29.
She was stopped in a 2024 Honda Civic for multiple traffic violations on Interstate 80 westbound in Kidder Township.
Police said she was found to be in possession of marijuana and related drug paraphernalia.
