No one was injured after a garage caught fire Friday night in Franklin Township.

Township fire Chief Lynn Diehl said firefighters responded around 8 p.m. to 1242 Indian Hill Road for a detached shed and garage fire with a vehicle involved.

Diehl said there were no injuries, however, the vehicle was a total loss.

It is believed the vehicle caught fire, and then spread to the garage, he said.

Diehl said firefighters remained on scene for about an hour.

He said the Lehighton Fire Department, Parryville Fire Department, Bowmanstown Fire Department and Towamensing Township Fire Department all assisted at the scene.
