Twelve Times News area teams, four of them from Northwestern, will be competing in the upcoming District 11 team playoffs in soccer, volleyball and field hockey.

Three of those Tiger teams enter districts as top seeds after winning league titles, those teams being both soccer squads and the field hockey club.

One other team from the area — Panther Valley volleyball — also won a district title. The Panthers are seeded second in the Class 3A field.

The playoffs begin today with action in soccer and volleyball.
