Walnutport Borough Council took the following action last week:

• Agreed to purchase new computers for its police patrol vehicles in the amount of $10,816.

• Approved a resolution to apply for an LSA grant in the amount of $100,000 for new police equipment such as bodycams, in-car cameras and Tasers.

• Approved a resolution to apply for an LSA grant for a new public works dump truck to replace a 25-year-old truck.

• Granted a time extension to LV Capital Acquisition for land development at 316-318 Oak St. until April 9.

• Announced that trick-or-treat will be held in the borough from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 29.
