Veterans of Tamaqua and the surrounding area are invited to a remembrance ceremony on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.

The ceremony is being conducted by students and faculty of the Tamaqua Area high and middle schools at 7:30 a.m. outside the high school.

It will include a flag-raising ceremony, patriotic music, readings by student leaders, and performances by the high school music ensembles. The Jazz Chorale will sing “America the Beautiful.”

All veterans are invited to the high school lobby for refreshments after the ceremony.
