It will begin to look a lot like Christmas when the Hometown Fire Company hosts the Annual Children’s Ornament Painting Event at 10 a.m. Nov. 15.

Kids will have the opportunity to paint five ornaments under the direction of Tracey, the owner of Sycamore Kula. Santa will also make an appearance.

“The kids really enjoy the paint events we offer for the various holidays. The best part is to watch their creativity emerge because like a snowflake, no two paintings ever look identical,” said Lori Kane, board president of the Hometown Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

The fee includes a light lunch of a hot dog, chips, drink and treat. Seating is limited.
