Tamaqua police charged Joseph Fritz, 32, and Kira Rolon, 30, both of Tamaqua, with disorderly conduct.

According to police, officers were called to a fight between the two at 4:24 p.m. on Aug. 26 on the unit block of Mauch Chunk Street, and learned that Fritz spat on Rolon. He and Rolon then began fighting, police said.

Fritz also faces a charge of harassment.
