Summit Hill’s trick-or-treat night has been changed to Friday, Oct. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Previously, it was announced that trick-or-treating would be a night earlier, because of the possibility of the Panther Valley High School football team having a playoff game on the 31st.
Mayor Jeffrey Szczecina changed it to the 31st because although the high school does have a playoff game, it will be on Thursday, Oct. 30.
The rain date for trick-or-treating is Saturday, Nov. 1, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The annual Ghouls and Gourds Halloween Event was changed to Oct. 26 beginning at 1 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Summit Hill Recreation Commission.
Kathy Gieniec, chairman of the Recreation Commission, said it will be held rain or shine.
Originally it had been scheduled for Oct. 19.
The date for Christmas on the Hill also was changed from Dec. 7 to Dec. 14. Santa will arrive at 6:30 p.m.
Gieniec said trolley rides will begin at 5 p.m.
