State police at Fern Ridge

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 74-year-old Brodheadsville woman and a 49-year-old Wind Gap woman are the victims of a theft by disposition of funds case that police were called to on Dal Drive, Chestnuthill Township.

They said $6,600 was stolen from the women between July 1 and Sept. 2. The case remains under investigation.

• Daniel Bartron, 32, of Cresco, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police made a traffic stop at 12:18 a.m. on Aug. 23.

He was stopped in a 2016 Dodge Ram truck for summary violations in the 6400 block of Route 209 in Hamilton Township.

Police said he was under the degree of alcohol that made him incapable of safe driving.

• A 70-year-old woman from Albrightsville and a 37-year-old man from Blakeslee were cited for harassment by communications after police responded to an incident at 12:17 p.m. on Sept. 17 on Meckesville Road, Penn Forest Township.

Police said they engaged in an argument over parking a vehicle close to a driveway.

• A 57-year-old man from Cresco and a 17-year-old boy from Saylorsburg were cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to an incident at 6:05 p.m. on Sept. 22 on Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said they were involved in an argument that escalated to them shoving and punching each other.

• A 15-year-old Effort boy was cited for disorderly conduct after police were called to Eldorado Drive, Chestnuthill Township, at 2:51 a.m. on Sept. 23. Police said they were summoned there for an argument.
