Pleasant Valley High School was recognized Friday night as one of T-Mobile’s national “Friday Night 5G Lights” winners during a ceremony at Bears Stadium in Brodheadsville Oct. 10. Representatives from the school, district, and community joined T-Mobile officials for the on-field presentation of a $25,000 grant — one of just 25 awarded nationwide. Pleasant Valley, the only finalist from Pennsylvania, previously earned a $5,000 “5K Friday” award earlier this season. The funding will support future athletic and facility upgrades as the school continues competing for the program’s $1 million grand prize.
