The Panther Valley Senior Center announced the menu for Oct. 13 to 17.

Monday: Center Closed

Tuesday: Beef Stew, Potatoes, Carrots, Applesauce or Chef Salad with Turkey

Wednesday: Chicken Scampi, Pasta, Broccoli, Jell-O or Bologna and Cheese Sandwich

Thursday: Meat loaf, Mashed Potatoes, Vegetables, Apple Slices, Cookie or Mediterranean Chicken Salad

Friday: Ham and Eggs, Pepper Potatoes, Cornbread, Pear or Ham and Cheese Sandwich

The center has also announced the following upcoming events:

Center closed on Oct. 13; Birthday Bingo on Oct. 14 at 10:45 a.m.; Ax Throwing Game on Oct. 15 at 11 a.m.; Po-Keeno on Oct. 16 at 11 a.m.; Cornhole Tournament on Oct. 17 at 11 a.m.

Scattergories on Oct. 20 at 11 a.m.; Bingo on Oct. 21 at 10:45 a.m.; Center closed on Oct. 22; Po-Keeno on Oct. 23 at 11 a.m.; Movie and Popcorn on Oct. 24 at 10 a.m.

Cards, Pool, Games, available daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. New members are welcome.

Panther Valley library

The Panther Valley Public Library is part of Carbon County Area Agency on Aging’s PA MEDI program to help those with annual Medicare open enrollment, which begins on Wednesday. Sessions at the library are: 9 a.m. to noon, Oct. 15, 17, 22, 24 and 29; Nov. 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26 and 28; and Dec. 3 and 5.
