Rollin Heilman of Andreas R.1 was named “Fireman of the Year” during the annual banquet of the Mahoning Valley Volunteer Fire Company.

He was presented a large plaque by fireman Ralph Steigerwalt and company president Lee Becker while his wife, Gloria, looked on.

Also presented an award for his many hours of volunteer work was Warren W. Steigerwalt, who has put countless hours of work in fundraising events on behalf of the company.

Alison Leffler was announced as the winner of the poster contest sponsored by the company. Runners-up were Carla Helfrich and Thomas Litchauer.
