State police at Lehighton

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 63-year-old Kunkletown woman had $6,000 stolen from her Key Bank account in a theft by deception incident reported to police at noon Sept. 12.

The woman said the funds were taken from her account by fraudulent use of her debit card.

• Police are investigating a criminal mischief incident that was reported at 2 a.m. Sept. 19 on Homestead Lane, Eldred Township.

A 32-year-old Kunkletown woman told police someone had entered her property and sprayed a white substance on her porch.

• A 28-year-old Lehighton woman is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police made a traffic stop at 3:02 a.m. Sept. 30.

Police said she was stopped in a 2015 Subaru Impreza for a Motor Vehicle Code violation at Main Road and Bridge Street in Franklin Township.

• Police are investigating a burglary that was reported at 4:16 a.m. Oct. 4 on Route 903 in Penn Forest Township.

A 50-year-old man from Gettysburg reported the burglary occurred during the overnight hours. No other information on the incident was provided by police.

• A 44-year-old Effort woman and a 41-year-old Kunkletown man were cited for disorderly conduct after police were called to a property on Polk Township Road, Polk Township, at 10:34 a.m. Oct. 4.

Police said the response was due to a disturbance/noise complaint.
