State police at Frackville

State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:

• Police arrested two McAdoo men, ages 64 and 65, on charges of assault with a weapon after they were called to a fight on South Kennedy Drive, McAdoo, at 10:56 a.m. Sept. 19.

A 2008 Buick Lucerne and a 2012 Toyota were involved in the incident, police said.

• Richard Shiner, 37, of New Ringgold, and Lindsey Veron, 36, of Tamaqua, are facing charges after an incident at 2:07 p.m. Oct. 1 on Plaza Drive, Hometown, Rush Township, police said.

Police were called to the AutoZone in the business park for a report of a theft and criminal mischief.

Upon arrival, police said that a 37-year-old Tamaqua woman reported a physical altercation occurred between her and Veron, during which Shiner smashed the windshield of her 2004 Toyota with his fist.

The woman told police she was able to enter the store and contact police, and the two suspects left the scene. She said that when she returned to her vehicle, she saw additional damage and that several items were missing.

Veron and Shiner were charged with theft by unlawful taking, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, police said.

They later learned, police said, that both suspects are wanted to face charges for unrelated incidents.

• Police were called to a burglary that occurred between 5 and 9 p.m. Oct. 1 on Lake Run in East Brunswick Township.

A 25-year-old man from New Ringgold told police someone removed a blue 2019 Yamaha dirt bike and a red Craftsman ratchet/socket set from a garage on his property.

The dirt bike is valued at $3,500, while the socket set is valued at $150, police said.
