Lehighton’s girls soccer team clinched a district playoff berth with a win over Pen Argyl on Friday.

Lehighton officially clinched a district playoff berth by posting a 2-0 Colonial League victory over Pen Argyl.

The Indians received first-half goals from both Taylor Moyer and Claire Bridy. Cassidy Litts made eight saves to earn the shutout for the winners.

Cole Mertz had four goals and an assist for the Tigers, while Logan Mesics finished with a hat trick and three helpers.

The winners also received a goal and two assists from both Caelan Stangil and Lyle Good.
