Crisp Air Festival set this weekend
The second annual Crisp Air Festival that will begin tonight in the Weissport Borough Park.
It will be held from 4 to 10 p.m. today, noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
There will be free parking, admission and entertainment over the course of the event, presented by the Weissport Event Committee,
There will be food trucks, games, bounce houses, crafts and basket raffles, 3D Critters and Creations, Strohl’s Woodcrafts, The Amazing Todd Carson, Clydesdales by Steiner Artisan Farms, and games by T & M Novelties.
Entertainment will include Whiskey Crossing (country rock) from 6 to 9 p.m. today; 400 Dead Whiskey Stamps (southern blues) noon to 1:30 p.m.; Tom Acker (acoustic) from 2 to 5 p.m., and Abandoned Mind (rock) from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday; and Damien Walck (acoustic) from 1 to 4 p.m., and The Amazing Carson at 2 p.m. Sunday.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Weissport Event Committee.
Jen Ketchledge, event coordinator, said the event is held “to get families together to enjoy an outdoor festival.”
“We have probably double the amount of vendors that we had last year,” Ketchledge said. “Our entertainment has taken a step up.”
Ketchledge added, “It’s bigger than it was last year, and we’re hoping that it gets bigger every year,” she said. “The things that we volunteer to do at the festival is we’re trying to get more money for the kids of Weissport so it’s a better town, and make sure that the kids are safe.”
