Coalton Z. Michell, 23, of Palmerton, sustained suspected minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 3:50 p.m. Sept. 12 on Hahn’s Dairy Road, Lower Towamensing Township, police said.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said he was transported by personnel from the Palmerton Community Ambulance Association to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township.

They said the crash occurred as Michell was driving a 2003 Hyundai westbound when he failed to stop at a stop sign. The vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane, exited the roadway, struck an embankment on the left shoulder of the road and overturned.

Michell was cited after the crash, police said.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.
