September 23, 2005 — Kyle Ritter scores on a 1-yard touchdown run with 49 seconds left in the game to help lift Palmerton to a 21-17 upset win over Saucon Valley. After the Panthers take a lead with 2:26 to play, the Bombers march 65 yards for the go-ahead and eventual winning tally. Zach Heller hits Aaron Schweibinz for completions of 22, seven and 30 yards during a 65-yard drive to get Palmerton, coached by Paul McArdle, down to the 1-yard line, from where Ritter scores. Ritter finishes with 99 yards rushing on 16 attempts and also reaches the end zone on a 20-yard run. The winners’ other score comes on a 78-yard kickoff return by Jon Mazepa.
