One person was injured Monday night in a crash in West Penn Township. The incident occurred just after 8 p.m. at the intersection of routes 309 and 443 in South Tamaqua.

The crash involved a pickup truck and a sport utility vehicle.

Members of the Penn Mahoning ambulance treated a woman suffering a leg injury. West Penn and Tamaqua fire police maintained traffic control at the scene. West Penn township police are investigating the incident.
