Senior Center

The Panther Valley Senior Center announced the menu for Sept. 22-26.

Monday: Stuffed cabbage, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, yogurt or turkey and cheese sandwich.

Tuesday: Corn chowder, barbecue pulled pork, coleslaw, melon or barbecue chicken sandwich.

Wednesday: Ranch chicken, macaroni and cheese, broccoli, apple slices, cookie or Greek salad.

Thursday: Lasagna, vegetable blend, salad, tropical fruit or egg salad sandwich.

Friday: Chicken Kiev, roasted potatoes, spinach, applesauce or grilled chicken sandwich.

The center has also announced the following upcoming events:

Bingo on Sept. 22 at 10:45 a.m.; Heritage Hill and Fox Rehab Presentation on “Body Mechanics and Proper Lifting Techniques” on Sept. 23 at 10:30 a.m.; balloon tennis on Sept. 24 at 11 a.m.; Po-Keeno on Sept. 25 at 11 a.m.; movie and pizza on Sept. 26 at 10 a.m.

Cards, pool, games available daily from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. New members are welcome.

PV library

The Panther Valley Public Library “Preschool Story Hour” began Sept. 17.

The event is open to children ages 3-5 and is held from 10-11 a.m. at the library, 117 E. Bertsch St., Lansford.

It includes a story, craft and light snack.
