Palmerton’s Sew What Quilt Guild hosts bingo Sunday

The Sew What Quilt Guild will host a Quilt Bingo on Sunday at the Aquashicola Volunteer Fire Company, 270 Little Gap Road, Palmerton.

Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. Bingo will start at 1 p.m. Food will be available at 11:30 a.m.

The cost is $25 in advance; tickets can be purchased at the Palmerton Area Library, or $30 at the door on that day.

Ticket price includes cards for 20 games plus 5 specials.

Each bingo prize will be a handmade quilt created by group members, from small lap size up to a queen size.

The coverall prize pictured will be a queen size, 90 wide by 105 long quilt, that was assembled by Barbara Herman and long arm quilted by Mary Jane Klenk and Deb Sandor.

Additional cards and refreshments will be available to purchase. There will be a 50/50 drawing.

The proceeds will benefit the Palmerton Area Library and the Sew What Quilt Guild.
