State police at Fogelsville - crashes

State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following crashes:

• Cole D. Hausman, 18, of Fogelsville, died in a one-vehicle crash at 9:10 p.m. Aug. 24 at the intersection of Route 100 and Lyon Valley Road in Lowhill Township.

Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene by Lehigh County Deputy Coroner Craig Hanzl.

He was driving a 2020 Mazda northbound when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The car crossed lanes, went into a field and hit a tree. It continued down an embankment and overturned.

• Nicole M. Yenser, 40, of New Tripoli, had suspected minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash at 6:23 a.m. Sept. 4 on Long Court, Heidelberg Township.

Police said she was transported by personnel from the Northern Valley ambulance to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest Campus, Salisbury Township.

Police said the crash involved a 2009 Honda driven by Chad E. Finke, 34, of New Tripoli, and a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Yenser.

They did not provide the details of the crash except to say that Finke was cited for “vehicle turning left.”
