A full slate of officers was elected last night by the Lehighton Area Chamber of Commerce during a meeting help at the Lehighton Community Center.

Kathy Carpenter, an advertising salesperson for the Times News, accepted the presidency for the duration of 1996.

Named vice president was Lorraine Logue, an employee of Bennett-Lehighton Ford.

Re-elected were Martha Schneider, secretary, and Mark Sverchek, treasurer.

Newly named to the board of directors were Robert Clark, chief executive officer of the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, and business owners Shari Kenlin and Barbara Barilla.
