Knights of Columbus Council No. 10772, Lake Harmony, on Saturday evening honored one of its past grand knights, Dominick Iafrato.

Iafrato joined the knights in 1993 and moved through the divisions swiftly, become an advocate in 1994, deputy grand knight in 1995 and grand knight in 1996, succeeding William McKinney.

He served in the latter position for two years and had been instrumental in increasing the council’s fundraising efforts, as well as forging an alliance with the Ladies of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Lake Harmony.

Iafrato is currently serving as district deputy grand knight for District 29.
