State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks reported the following incidents:
• A 66-year-old Port Carbon man reported eight firearms were stolen.
Police were dispatched to Jackson Street in the borough to investigate the theft of shotguns and accessories. They are Bushnell, Ballard, Fieldmaster, Savage, Mossberg and Acme models stolen on Oct. 2, 2024.
• A 37-year-old Walnutport woman was cited for simple harassment after police responded to a domestic violence incident at 4:43 p.m. Aug. 20 on Beckville Road, North Manheim Township.
Police said the victim is a 44-year-old man from Pottsville. They said a 2014 Dodge Journey was involved in the incident.
• A 45-year-old New Ringgold man was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude police (on foot) after they attempted to serve a warrant on him.
The incident occurred at 7:37 p.m. July 16 on Montana Drive, South Manheim Township.
• Police are investigating a theft by disposition of funds incident reported at 7:22 p.m. Aug. 6 on Oak Lane, West Brunswick Township. A 74-year-old woman from Orwigsburg reported the theft.
• Police responded to a report of a burglary at 1:50 a.m. Aug. 11 on Park Avenue, Port Carbon, resulting in the arrest of a 39-year-old Port Carbon woman.
The victims are two Port Carbon men, ages 36 and 48.
Police said $4,648.18 in property damage resulted from the break-in.
