The Lehighton field hockey and Pleasant Valley boys soccer teams each secured wins in extra time on Friday.

Elsewhere, the Northern Lehigh boys soccer team posted its second straight victory, while the Weatherly volleyball squad earned its first win of the season.

Sophia Wise and Maezie Hunsicker both scored for the Tribe.

Abby Weston tallied 31 assists to go along with 10 points, two aces and three digs for the Wreckers. Abigail Binder added seven kills and 14 digs, while Kelly Reiner contributed 10 points, four kills and nine digs.

Royce Thompson scored in the second half to tie the match, and Christian Pinheiro delivered the double-overtime winner off an assist from Aiden Granda-Salinas as Pleasant Valley edged Allen 2-1 in EPC play.
