Alexander Cordero, 31, of East Stroudsburg, was cited for failure to give immediate notice of an accident to police, state police at the Stroudsburg barracks said.

The one-vehicle crash occurred at 1:03 p.m. Sept. 2 on Marshalls Creek Road, Smithfield Township, according to police.

Cordero was uninjured in the incident.

Police said he was driving a 2016 Buick Encore southbound when it exited the right side of the road and hit an embankment. The vehicle had disabling damage after the crash.
