The Anthracite Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America will hold its 39th annual car show on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Tri-County Little League Field, corner of Grove and Hancock streets, McAdoo. The event is rain or shine.

There will be a special participation award to the first 150 registered vehicles as well as special awards to “Best of Show Stock” and “Best of Show Modified.”

Dash plaques will be given to the first 200 registered vehicles, and special awards will be given to all AACA senior and first junior automobiles.

Gates open at 8 a.m., and day of show registration will continue until noon. Awards will begin at 2:30.

The show is open to all antiques, classics, street rods, rat rods, modifieds, street machines, trucks, customs and muscle cars.

The Tri-County Little League will have food and beverages available. The McAdoo Little League field features plenty of shade, a spacious show car area and a playground for the kids.

This year’s show will be a “No Judging Show”; participants are encouraged to come out and show their cars to help promote the hobby. As a special treat, this year’s show will feature live music by the Legends Oldies Band.
