State police at Frackville

State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:

• Andrew Zakashefski, 63, of Tamaqua, was arrested on a Title 75 misdemeanor/felony charge after an incident that occurred at 8:45 p.m. Sept. 1 on Mahanoy Avenue in Rush Township.

Police said he was operating a 2016 Harley-Davidson motorcycle with a suspended license and the motorcycle did not have an ignition interlock installed on it.

• A 47-year-old Brockton man was cited for simple trespass after police responded to an incident at the Big Diamond Speedway, Cass Township, at 8:45 p.m. Aug. 31.

Police said he was instructed multiple times by authorized personnel to leave the premises and refused to do so, staying there until being told to leave by state police.

• A 36-year-old New Boston man was cited for harassment by threatening physical contact following a confrontation at 11:26 a.m. Aug. 31 on Roosevelt Drive, Mahanoy Township.

Police said the victim is a 26-year-old man from Schuylkill Haven.

They said the suspect and the 26-year-old were involved in a verbal altercation about the suspect’s ex-wife. Police said he made threatening statements towards the victim.
