State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following crashes:

• Charles A. Linz, 18, of Haverford, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a crash at 6:03 p.m. June 13 on Route 903 in Penn Forest Township.

Police said he was driving a 2018 Toyota that exited the road and struck numerous boulders on its shoulder. The vehicle was towed from the scene. He was not injured in the incident.

Police said Linz was also cited for unsafe driving.

• Adande N. Samuel, 35, of Albrightsville, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and unsafe driving after a one-vehicle crash at 8:33 p.m. Sept. 1 on Patten Circle, Penn Forest Township.

Police said he was driving a 2025 Nissan Rogue too fast for road conditions when he lost control of it. The vehicle left the roadway and hit a fence before continuing and striking a bolder and mailbox. It had disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

Police said Samuel originally left the scene but returned to it about 30 minutes later, showed signs of impairment and was arrested.

Police said he had minor injuries after the crash.

• Kelly L. Cappello, 47, of Jim Thorpe, is facing charges of driving while her license is suspended or revoked, and other offenses pending investigation into her one-vehicle crash at 10:51 a.m. July 29 on South Old Stage Road, Penn Forest Township.

Police said she was injured in the crash, but the severity of her injuries is unknown.

They said she was driving a 2008 Honda Civic southbound when it veered off the roadway and struck a ditch, causing it to overturn and come to rest on its roof. Police said Cappello fled, leaving the car disabled in the center of the roadway. It was towed from the scene, police said.

The owner of the vehicle was contacted, which led to the development of a suspect, after which Cappello was identified and arrested, according to police.

• Philip J. Bramande, 75, of Harriman, Tennessee, died in a motorcycle crash at 10:32 a.m. Aug. 20 on Interstate 80 westbound in Tobyhanna Township.

Police said he was transported by personnel from the Pocono Mountain Regional Emergency Medical Services to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono Campus, East Stroudsburg, where he was pronounced dead.

They said he was operating a 2017 Harley-Davidson that exited the roadway and traveled down an embankment. Bramande was thrown from the motorcycle, which continued up an embankment and hit several trees.
