Exeter blanks Pleasant Vy.
Unbeaten Exeter Township rolled to a 42-0 win over Pleasant Valley Friday.
Senior Leomar Brown scored the first four Eagles touchdowns while rushing for 140 yards on 11 carries in the game.
The hosts outgained the Bears 310-38 in the win, including running for 239 yards on 20 carries while holing PV to just 22 yards on 34 rushing attempts.
Brown scored one touchdown in the first quarter and two three more in the second to give his team a 27-0 lead at halftime. They made it a mercy-rule win when quarterback Jacob Hafer hit Jayden Ware on a 54-yard touchdown pass. Another Hafer pass got the Eagles a two-point conversion and a 35-0 lead.
Sophomore Sephon Fuller capped the scoring with a 40-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Ware hauled in three passes in the game for 71 yards and a score.
The Eagles (3-0) will get back into Berks League play next week when they host Governor Mifflin. The Bears (1-2) have another tough test as they head to Orefield Thursday to take on a 3-0 Parkland team.
