First street in Lehighton was closed to traffic late Wednesday afternoon due to a crash.

The incident occurred just before 5 p.m. in the 200 block of North First Street. The driver of a late model Honda traveling south struck the rear of a parked car causing the Honda to roll onto its side. Responding to the scene were the Lehighton fire department and paramedics. Lehighton fire police maintained traffic control at the scene, shutting down the roadway. Lehighton police are investigating the incident.
