Two people were seriously injured Tuesday morning in a crash in Lansford. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on West Patterson Street (Route 209) involving a single car. Fire companies from Lansford, Summit Hill and Coaldale responded to the crash to aid in extricating the victims from the wreckage. The two were treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being flown from the scene. Lansford police are investigating the incident.
