Marian Catholic High School invites students and their grandparents to its annual Grandparents’ Day, a cherished tradition that honors the vital role grandparents play in the lives of Marian students and the faith community.
The celebration will be held Sept. 10.
Grandparents are asked to arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 a.m., with Mass beginning promptly at 10 a.m. Guests may park in front of the school or in the rear lot near the gymnasium entrance.
“Grandparents are not only an important part of the Marian family, but an even more important part of being present in the lives of their grandchildren,” said Principal Rev. Robert Finlan. “Their wisdom, love and faithful presence are gifts that shape the next generation in profound ways.”
Following the Mass, families will have the opportunity to spend time together and reflect on the blessing of intergenerational faith and love.
RSVPs are required. Please RSVP to Dr. Erin Marek no later than Sept. 5 by emailing emarek@mariancatholichs.org or calling 570-467-3335, ext. 115.
