The Jim Thorpe Area School District board of directors approved a wide range of personnel actions during its regular meeting Wednesday.

The approvals included:

• Resignation of Michelle Peterson, Penn Kidder paraprofessional, effective Aug. 4.

• Resignation of Alessandra Rossino, elementary teacher, effective Aug. 20 with a release date to be determined.

• Grace Kenna, third grade teacher at L.B. Morris, Bachelor’s Step 1, salary $53,020, start date Aug. 21.

• Tracie Henry, Student & Family Services and Truancy Coordinator, Bachelor’s Step 1, salary $53,020, start date to be determined.

• Nicole Pollinger, school social worker, Master’s Step 3, salary $56,050, start date Aug. 21.

• Jenna Cimino, 90-day long-term substitute teacher at L.B. Morris, Bachelor’s Step 1, prorated salary $53,020, start date Aug. 21.

• Jordan Eckman, 90-day long-term substitute at Penn Kidder Campus, Bachelor’s Step 1, prorated salary $53,020, start date Aug. 21.

• Corrine Durange, L.B. Morris special education teacher, Master’s +60 Step 7, salary $67,950, start date to be determined.

• Amanda Melber, Penn Kidder Campus special education teacher, Bachelor’s Step 1, salary $53,020, start date to be determined.

• Errin Volitis, emergency certified long-term substitute special education teacher at Penn Kidder Campus, Bachelor’s Step 1, salary $53,020, start date Aug. 21.

• Janine Noel, intern certified long-term substitute high school life skills teacher, Master’s Step 1, salary $54,050, start date Aug. 21.

• Renewal of Emily Surak, emergency certified long-term substitute in Penn Kidder emotional support classroom, Bachelor’s Step 3, salary $55,020.

• Renewal of Donna Borst, intern certified long-term substitute art teacher at Penn Kidder Campus, Master’s Step 2, salary $55,050.

• Thomas Lesisko, appointed as emergency interim superintendent, $550 per day, start date Sept. 2.

• Millie Ashmore, Penn Kidder Campus secretary, $14 per hour, retroactive to July 25.

• Jennifer Melber, paraprofessional, $14 per hour, start date Aug. 21.

• Megan Bleiler, paraprofessional, $14 per hour, start date Aug. 21.

• Lybirtee Williams, paraprofessional, $14 per hour, start date Aug. 21.

• Sara Louk, paraprofessional, $14 per hour, start date Aug. 21.
