The Carbon County Board of Commissioners announce the opening of the 2025 fall grant round of the Open Space Grant Program.

The Open Space Grant Program can provide funding to municipalities and prequalified land trust organizations to preserve land that protects wildlife habitat, water resources and forests.

Carbon County municipalities and land trust organizations are the only eligible applicants to apply for funding from the program.

The application is available online via https://www.carboncountypa.gov/openspace/. This county webpage also provides a detailed video guide about the program.

The 2025 fall grant round will remain open until Sept. 30 at 4 p.m.
