State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following crashes:
• Luis M. Rodriguez Fermin, 40, of Frackville, was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed after a one-vehicle crash at 10:56 a.m. Aug. 16 on Interstate 81 in Ryan Township. He was uninjured in the incident.
Police said he was driving a 2016 Honda northbound in the rain when the vehicle hydroplaned on the wet surface, traveled onto the east shoulder and then went down an embankment. Police said it slid sideways and rolled onto its roof.
The vehicle had disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
• Police were called to a hit-and-run crash at 4:08 p.m. Aug. 8 at the intersection of the Vulcan Hill and Morea roads in Mahanoy Township.
They said victims of the incident are a 25-year-old woman from York and a 33-year-old man from Gettysburg.
Involved in the incident were a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2009 Toyota Corolla.
• Rodney R. Roberts, 69, of Mahanoy City, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 4:12 p.m. Aug. 12 on the Burma Road in Mahanoy Township. He was uninjured in the incident.
Police said he was southbound in a 2009 Hyundai Sonata when he failed to negotiate a right curve. The car crossed over into the northbound land and hit a guide rail.
The car was towed from the scene, police said.
