Carbon Chamber hosts inaugural community festival

The Carbon County Chamber & Economic Development Corporation, partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, celebrated a milestone, hosting the inaugural Carbon County Community Festival on Sunday at Colonel Jacob Weiss Park in Lehighton.

The festival brought together hundreds of residents, visitors and businesses for a day of family-friendly fun, local food, small business showcases and community spirit.

Guests enjoyed handcrafted goods, interactive booths with children’s activities and delicious local flavors from favorites like Milk Train, The Rolling Brew, Diggers BBQ, Rollz & Bowlz, Beirut Bites, and more. The diversity and creativity of Carbon County businesses and organizations were on full display, delighting attendees of all ages.

Live music added to the festive atmosphere with performances by Hannah Noel Music, followed by Doktor Thomas Doubter and The Endogenous Psychedelics.

“The Carbon Chamber was thrilled to host our first-ever Carbon County Community Festival and showcase everything that makes our county so special, while welcoming neighboring communities to join in the celebration,” said Kylie Adams-Weiss, senior vice president of the Carbon County Chamber & Economic Development Corporation.

“By highlighting our local businesses community, we are shining a spotlight on all that Carbon County has to offer,” she said. “A strong business community means a strong county, and we are excited to see so much of that talent represented at this year’s inaugural event.
