The Carbon County Economic Development Office has been notified the KOZ Enhancement Application for an expansion of Paules Metal Works, Inc., located at 1145 Little Gap Road, Palmerton, has been approved by the PA Department of Community and Economic Development for KOZ designations.

The company, owned by Earl Paules Jr., is a metal fabricating company. Paules plans to expand its operations with a 20,000-square-foot building and create 10 new jobs.

The company currently employs 15 people at its existing building.

Toni Artuso, director of the county agency, expressed the county’s satisfaction that Paules will provide the additional high quality manufacturing jobs in the county.
