The Weatherly Area School District Board of Directors this week hired athletic coaches and put in place personnel as game workers for the 2025-26 school year.

The board approved the following coaches, pending all clearances and paperwork and contingent upon completion of the season: Will Bartel, girls softball varsity head coach, $4,650; Rebekah Jones, co-ed cross country assistant coach (replacing Ryan Kately), $2,100; and Devin Berger, assistant girls soccer coach (replacing Sean McGill), $2,100.

The board also voted to approve the following game workers and their respective rates of pay: scorekeepers, ticket takers and clock operators, $30 per game; game managers, $45 per game.

The appointments are pending all clearances and paperwork and contingent upon the completion of the season for: Elijah Derr, Melissa Isom, Rachel Witner, Kellye Zoscin, Connie Derr, Brian Kaminski, Nicole Selert, Staci Ray, Beth Dolinsky, Ryan Kately, Robert Selert, Anthony McKeegan, Tracy Earhart, Nicole Hinkle, John McGee and Michele Selert.

Approved as volunteer weight room supervisors, pending all clearances, were Brian Kaminski, Scott Zoscin, Kellye Zoscin and Jeff Donadi.
