State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following crashes:

• The trailing unit of a John Deere tractor was damaged in a crash mishap at 1:42 p.m. on Aug. 7 on Long Mountain Road in Polk Township.

Police said an unidentified vehicle traveling south attempted to pass the tractor from the driver’s side, struck the trailing unit and failed to stop.

Police said the tractor was operated by Steven S. Murphy, 64, of Effort, who police said refused medical services treatment at the scene.

• A 24-year-old Saylorsburg woman is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controller substance after a two-vehicle crash at 7:40 p.m. on July 19 on Kunkletown Road in Eldred Township.

Police did not provide any other information about the crash except that the woman exhibited signs of impairment and was taken into custody.
