Emergency personnel were dispatched Thursday morning to a crash in East Penn Township.

The incident occurred around 11 a.m. at the intersection of Church Hill and Picnicwoods roads, involving two vehicles. Reports were one woman received a head injury.

Responding were the East Penn fire company and Lehighton paramedics. East Penn fire police maintained traffic control at the scene shutting down the roadway.

State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
