State police at Lehighton
State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:
• Police are investigating a cruelty to animals complaint they received at 3:19 p.m. July 2.
It was reported to have occurred on White Street in Weissport.
• Police were called to a criminal mischief incident at 7:35 a.m. July 8 on Route 115 in Ross Township.
They said a man damaged the glass door of Creature Comforts, Saylorsburg.
• A 41-year-old woman from Northampton was cited for harassment by physical contact after police were called to Park and White streets, Weissport, at 10:49 a.m. July 27.
Police said she and a man engaged in an argument that resulted in them shoving each other.
• Shawn Kennedy, 53, of Nesquehoning, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 8:48 p.m. July 12.
He was stopped in a 2005 Dodge Dakota on Route 248 in Parryville for Title 75 violations. Police said they found him to be in an impaired state.
• Kyle Satson, 28, of Lansdale, is facing drug possession charges after police made a traffic stop at 5:08 p.m. July 26.
Police said he was a passenger in a 2012 BMW they stopped at the intersection of Route 209 and Weir Lake Road, Chestnuthill Township. Police said he was in possession of a controlled substance.
• Police said a vehicle reported stolen in Maryland was recovered at 7:09 p.m. June 11 on Covered Bridge Road, Lower Towamensing Township.
The case is under investigation.
• Police said the driver of a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado they stopped for a Motor Vehicle Code violation was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
It occurred at 10:24 a.m. July 28 on South Third Street in Lehighton.
Police did not provide information on the driver’s identity or residence.
• Police are investigating a theft from a motor vehicle on Route 903 in Penn Forest Township.
They said a Jim Thorpe man reported someone stole an extension cord and master lock from his vehicle between 5 p.m. July 28 and 8:46 a.m. July 29.
The stolen items are valued at $180, police said.
• Police were called to a report of found a clear plastic bag containing a syringe at 3:35 p.m. July 29 on West Abbott Street, Lansford.
• A 50-year-old Palmerton woman reported a criminal mischief incident police at 1:05 p.m. July 30.
Someone damaged the woman’s driveway on Woods Road, Polk Township.
•A 59-year-old Saylorsburg woman from Warner Drive, Polk Township, arrived at the barracks at noon July 19 to report that she is the victim of identity theft.
• A 28-year-old Lansford man was cited for harassment in an incident that occurred at 11 p.m. July 30 on Centre Street in Parryville.
Police said the victims are a 35-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, both from Parryville.
• A 36-year-old man from Kunkletown and 35-year-old woman from East Stroudsburg were cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to a domestic disturbance at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 2 on Mountain View Drive, Polk Township.
Police said both parties were separated from a fight they engaged in upon their arrival.
• Police said a vehicle was recovered at Bridge and South Railroad streets, Weissport, at 10:02 p.m. May 26.
The CBR 1000 motorcycle belonged to a man from Sharon Hill.
