State Police at Hazleton

State police at the Hazleton barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 2010 Leisure Manor Leike motorcycle was found at 9:02 p.m. on Aug. 1 at the intersection of West Oak and Fern streets in Banks Township.

Police said the green and black motorcycle was found in the wooded area. Anyone with information about the motorcycle is asked to call police at 570-459-3890.

• Police responded to a scattering of rubbish report at 8:40 a.m. on Aug. 6 at the intersection of Hudson Drive and Fireline Road in Packer Township.

The victim is North Point Development LLC, of Kansas City, Missouri.

Police said it was determined that an auto body garage illegally dumped auto parts at the site.

• A 55-year-old Tresckow man is the victim of a theft incident reported to police at 12:12 p.m. on July 7.

The man, a resident of East Maple Street, told police his signature was forged on his check in the amount of $418.60, and was cashed via a mobile application.

• A 51-year-old Tamaqua man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after police made a traffic stop at 2:47 a.m. on July 19.

He was stopped in a 2004 Toyota at North Laurel and West Holly streets in Hazleton.

Police said he was taken into custody for DUI.

Police said he was in possession of suspected cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
