State police at Fogelsville report the following:

• A 26-year-old Lansford man was picked up on an arrest warrant out of New Jersey and committed to the Lehigh County Prison, state police at the Fogelsville barracks said.

Police said he was a passenger in a 2012 Honda Odyssey that was stopped for summary traffic violations at 12:40 p.m. July 28 in Interstate 78 in South Whitehall Township.

Police learned that the man was wanted in New Jersey on identity theft charges, police said.

He was taken into custody without incident.

• A 31-year-old man from Bethlehem has been charged with aggravated assault.

Police said they were called to Lincoln Court, Lynn Township, at 11:23 a.m. on Aug. 8 for a domestic incident involving a gun.

A 27-year-old woman from New Tripoli told police the man struck her with the gun, injuring her.

The man was taken into custody and charges were filed against him in district court.
