State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following crashes:

• Donald L. Getz, 80, and Judith A. Bellman, 85, both of Bartonsville, were injured after a two-vehicle crash at 1:44 p.m. July 21 on Route 611 in Hamilton Township.

Police said they were transported by personnel from the Lehigh Valley Health Network EMS corps to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono Campus, East Stroudsburg.

Police did not provide the details of the crash except to say it involves vehicles being driven by Getz and Raymond M. Horensky, 60, of Slatington, who was uninjured.

• Steven T. Biechy, 36, of South Williamsport, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after a one-vehicle crash at 1:04 a.m. July 11 on Route 209 in Hamilton Township.

Police said he was driving a 2001 Dodge Ram pickup truck that traveled off the right side of the road and struck a drainage ditch and an embankment before rotating 180 degrees and landing in the ditch. The truck was towed from the scene.

Police said Biechy was evaluated at the scene by personnel from the Lehigh Valley Health Network EMS corps but refused treatment.

• Police were called to a hit-and-run crash at 8:57 p.m. July 10 on Interstate 80 in Hamilton Township.

They said an unknown vehicle traveling westbound merged into the left lane and proceeded to pass a 2025 Freightliner Cascadia operated by Carlos R. Diaz, 32, of Springfield, Massachusetts.

The right side of the passing vehicle then struck the left side of the rig, damaging its mirror. Police said the striking vehicle proceeded without stopping.
